Christmas is a thrilling time of year and at Braeside, we love nothing more than to get stuck into some Christmas-themed learning!  Take part in ‘Merry Christmaths!’ and you will discover the fascinating mathematical concepts behind seasonal shapes and designs.  You will also be able to put your calculation skills to the test in some fabulous, festive number challenges. Earn stars for your Mathematical endeavours, and use them to embellish your very own souvenir Christmas tree decoration. This is the perfect chance to use and develop your mathematical knowledge in the most festive of ways! Pupils will experience a range of shape, space and calculation challenges throughout the day. There will be a strong practical element and they will need to develop and explain their problem-solving strategies whilst finding effective methods of recording.
