Christmas is a time for fun and celebration. ‘Mathemagical Christmas’ activities discover the mathematical ideas and calculations behind shapes, patterns and designs. You will be able to use and develop your mathematical knowledge with a bit of Christmas sparkle thrown in!

Pupils will experience a variety of practical maths challenges over the course of the day, with a variety of shape, space and calculation. The children will need to explain their problem-solving strategies and be able to identify and develop recording methods. They will also be able to adopt practical approaches incorporating the topics covered.
