Art Meets Science; Kaleidacrafts

Subject: Art and Science

A cross-curricular course taking aspects of Art and Science to create a personal individual single project.

Pupils will gain an appreciation of a range of paper types, uses of different paint mediums and a blend of contrasting colour ideas, followed by an understanding of some creative application techniques. Using this information, they will be able to create their own colourful Kaleidacraft design.

Once this project is completed, the second part of the course introduces Sir Isaac Newton and by adding science to their Kaleidacraft, pupils will then use their creation to demonstrate the forces of action and reaction.
