An Introduction into Food Technology

Tuesday 27th July, Tuesday 17th August & Wednesday 18th August

‘Come and spend a day with our Catering Manager and Catering Supervisor and create some delicious bakes. As well as making their own lunches, they will also be baking some goodies to bring home for the rest of the family. They will also have an introduction into Hygiene and Safety in the kitchen, learn the technical processes that they will need to use during the day, and they will also learn how to hold a knife correctly. Additionally, they will be creating a mock menu to fit as specific brief whilst also sticking to a pretend budget. This is not only good practice for any budding chef but is also a handy skill to learn for when they grow up.’

Children must have a keen interest in catering, but no previous experience is necessary.
Please advise of ANY food allergens upon booking.
Each child will need to bring their own medium to large empty Tupperware box to take home their afternoon bakes in
Children will make their own lunches, so no need to bring a lunch in.

£30 per child, per day.
